Why Balloons Tear - Causes & Solutions
If your balloon is tearing at the seam, it usually means one of the preparation steps was skipped or not done correctly. A simple adjustment in the technique is often enough to fix the problem.
To help prevent this issue, make sure to do the following steps:
- First, pre-stretch the Neck of Bobo balloon very well before mounting.
- Then trim the top of the balloon neck with scissors.
- And then fold the neck outward before placing it onto expander tool to attach it to the machine’s mounting port.
Once these three steps are completed properly, tearing at the seam is no longer an issue.
A well-stretched balloon, a trimmed neck, and a properly folded neck allow the balloon to expand smoothly without stress. These simple preparation steps make all the difference.
Seam tearing occurs when pressure concentratesin one area of the balloon neck. Proper preparation spreads that tension evenly so the balloon can expand smoothly.
Stretch > Trim > Fold
Follow these steps, and the chance of seam tearing is nearly zero.
